Sitting Buddha Charm
We were inspired by adventures through Thailand for this design, where we saw so many Buddha alters. This one we came across most often, and it brought the most peace. A sitting Buddha can symbolise many things, depending on his posture. Our design is the ‘calling the earth to witness’ Buddha, and represents the Buddha’s moment of enlightenment. He sits on a Lotus Flower, symbolising someone who overcame pain in this world and was reborn – just like a lotus grows roots in dirty water to rise and produce a perfect flower.
In the making:
Our charms are teenie tiny versions of our pendants and are made right here in Britain, drawn by hand and cut with a big old laser. They’re made of either solid 925 Sterling Silver, finished and polished by hand. Not all pendants are available as charms, as the detail is too fine to cut (even with a snazzy laser).
You can’t just buy one charm, can you? We recommend kicking off with at least three. If you're just starting off, we recommend you buy a starter charm set (bracelet + one charm). And then, choose your chapters. To get you on your way, we'll give you 50% off any two additional charms you add to the same order. (Because good things come in threes).
