CarterGore was co-founded by husband and wife team Gary and Cathy five years ago. Thick as thieves, they manage to run their rule-breaking, conformity-bending, edge-loving brand, for the most part, in harmonious partnership from their centuries old cottage in a chocolate-box village.

And while they’re lucky enough to have a network of contributors that have gotten the brand to this point - The CarterGore Collective - if you’re looking for the heart and soul of this thing, may we introduce you to them ...

Meet Gary

CarterGore was officially born in its current form five years ago, when Gary decided to step away from a high-stress, 100-hour work week career to reassess his life and what he wanted to do with it. Because, well, life is too short for that shit. Up until that point, his career had taken him in a diverse range of directions – from building brands from the kitchen table to international success, to supporting some of the biggest names in industry – but his passion for artistry and making things by hand has always brought him back to jewellery. Time and time again.

Gary is our Designer / Maker, everything CarterGore starts and ends with him and his unyielding creative passion for making things that mean something.

Meet Cathy

The original CG girl, Cathy is the muse and the builder of our brand. The one sending out your orders, the one standing freezing outside to get the perfect light for the photo, the one double tapping your comment on social and replying to your messages. While Gary is the reason we have product, Cathy is the reason that product makes it to you. (And looks so good when it arrives).
